That’s a great idea, I’m going to try that on mine.

I did the same thing with a piece of conveyor belt. Haven’t had a problem since!

Well these DA, don't give hoot hands didn't let me down, took the guy about a week, hung the corner of the trailer on a cattle gaurd going into the lease, took off the lights, license plate (all) and a part of the trailer frame bent to he77. Sent him down the road kick in' rocks, he can tear up someone else's equipment.

Forgot to add to post, this is a good idea and should work exceptionally for folks who care for their equipment, these hands we've got really (some of them) know there's another job down the street and would rather try to mooch yard time as much as possible.

                  I had the same problem.

I added a new bracket and mounted it vertical and turned the light around.

I'll get a picture and post.

Drilling holes in the fender is the first place rust begins. No thanks.

There are no holes in the fender. I attached a mount to support just in front of the fender.

How has this worked out for you? It looks like from your picture that you mounted it below the trailer frame? Can you post another picture showing more of the trailer/plate? License plate still intact?

It’s still pristine as the day I mounted it 3 years ago. I’ll get you some more pics in a few days.
