According to Fox 4 DFW they caught him but sounds like the other two people in the vehicle at the time of the officer shooting are still on the run.

The mayor of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, suggests officers don't need to be armed for every traffic stop or "engaged in situations that don't necessarily call for weapons."

Their SUV was found abandoned a short while later on John Jones Drive in Burleson. Police believe it malfunctioned and caught fire.

The suspects reportedly took off again on foot. At least one of them may have carjacked and fatally shot a woman in the 8000 block of CR 802.

The woman’s body was found dumped by the back door of the Joshua Police Department. Her silver Toyota Tacoma with the Texas license plate DKB6819 is still missing, police said.

Prayers sent. This has got to stop. The blatant disrespect and disregard for our LEOs. This is getting out of hand. Hope they catch the suspects and give them what they deserve.
