Stimulus Check is In

Have no clue on why or how I got one.....everything I read I was above every threshold out there....
But I have a large deposit from US Treasury in my account last night....

I think I might save it, cuz I am sure they made a mistake

just a quick question on mine.

My 2018 tax return nearly hit the max threshold.
My 2019 return that was filed 3/25/2020 put me under the $150,000 (Married Filing Jointly).

The payment that I received was based on 2018 return. Will there be any adjustments or credits given based on 2019 versus 2018?

I believe if an adjustment has to be made it will be done at tax time next year. I think thats what I read.

We never get a refund. I try to break even but usually have to pay a few hundred. I don't like letting the government hold my money.

Got mine, don't know how or why but we got one. I thought we were over the threshold as well and certainly wasn't expecting one. I'm sure we'll have to pay it back at some point.
