There is a high tension line not far from my setup but if that's what they were doing they ventured off course about a mile or so.

My buddy flys a drone for a living, he maps out land for farmers. Any farmland around there or maybe land for sale? They could’ve been doing that but still they are in the wrong for crossing into other property and ruining your hunt.

With it being a weekday, whoever was flying the drone more then likely thought there would be no one hunting today.

If you have to trespass to retrieve it, it shouldn’t be there.

So, legally, a drone operator can run the thing wherever he wants and there's no real legal recourse for the person being messed with? More evidence of a jacked up world we live in. Jeez.

He was probable doing legit work and saw your set up and flew over to check it out, didn't realize you were hunting till he saw you. Hopefully the pilot got the message.

What's considered a Boone and Crockett drone these days?

His work quit being legit when he flew over and hovered that feeder.
