Anyone verify if this is spider bite???(graphic)

Started about a week ago. Very tender at the 3 day mark. Less tender now and starting to blister looks like. Thought it was just an ingrown hair.

I don’t recognize it. Have you considered draining the blister?

A friend had something like that on her knee this week. Ended up being staph.

Not sure, but you need antibiotics. It’s infected

Picking up antibiotics now. Online doc said to drain it.

Better not drain, resident expert on here said never drain a blister….even if the doctor says to drain it!

Doesn’t look like a spider bite that’s a week old

Doc called in a prescription for clindamycin. In route to pick it up. Gonna start it tonight and see how it does without draining. The doc seemed pretty confident that draining would speed up healing……not sure what to believe. He also suggested not to use topical antibiotic creams. Said it would stop it from drying snd draining properly.

                          You think I should drain?

My mother-in-law suggested putting a bandage with silver over the bite overnight.

Hope it isn't the start of Shingles.
