          I like the foil cut into 2" squares staple it to target.

                    Saw a YouTube video where the guy uses 2 AA batteries wrapped in foil. 1st is for the bullseye and 2nd is point of impact. Probably the best method I've seen and used.

                        Electrical tape on cardboard works the best if you sight in during the day, that black tape gets hot.

                            Problem I have with hand warmers are the fact it's a 2 inch square. How can you sight in on a 2 inch target. I need something like 1/4 moa . I don't care to shoot 2 inch groups. I want precision

                              Cut a 1inch square hole in the cardboard and staple the hand warmer to the back side. The cardboard will insulate the heat from the warmer. Edges will be fuzzy, but you still have a more precise aiming point.
