    Sweet find on berger 215’s

I’d say I’m set for my 300 PRC.
    1000 primers, 100 brass, 1000 Berger’s, and 11 pounds of h1000

    Looks like you are.

I've been waiting to see what APR is going to introduce. I'm looking at the same cartridge for a new rifle. Hoping to find a case of Fed215 primers somewhere.

Scheels in the colony had a few bricks last time I went in. Didn’t need any but did put up some CCI 450s

The 300 PRC has been a dream to shoot. I would change a few things now that it’s done. One being the stock bc I don’t really like the palm swell. I may swap later on for an ultra lite chassis that’s about the same weight as my manners eh1. I would maybe use a different action that has a full 20 moa integrated rail and not what I have so I can adjust my scope further back but it’s so close as is I’m not worried. And maybe go a different route in optics for a 34 mm tube and not 30 bc the eye box is finicky at times in an uncomfortable shooting position. All very minor gripes.

I have less than 90 rounds down the tube and haven’t even tried fine tuning my loads. With virgin brass i shot 3 in a group well within a Copenhagen can at 500 and had a 3 shot group at 1000 that was about 9 inches. 2 hits were within 4” and the third was low but I’ll contribute that to 23 fps slower than the first two. A minor inconsistency I’m sure in the brass.

At the end of the day, it’s a 9.5 pound long range killing stick and steel plinker and I’m happy!
