        Thanks guys.

        It was a cool project, and I'm real happy it worked out for him.

        I had done something similar (more crude) for my Old Buddy Shorty, and it kept him shooting for about the last four years of his life. Heck, he was out shooting the day before he passed away.

        It's a very satisfying feeling.

                      Rick, when I come back from Africa, I may have to see what you'd charge me for a lesson in making finger tabs. I'm hoping to have a warthog hide to try out.

                        Building all leather tabs is real easy.

                        Probably, the best thing to do would be to have me make a template for you to use to cut your parts from. Then you could just lay the template onto the materials, mark it, cut it out, and stitch it together.

                        You would just need to come up with the shape & size you want.
