How many miles on the Jasper motor? I miss my 07, but this 2011 will be getting a new motor when it is time.

I had a 1980 Ford Ranger my Pawpaw gave me. It made it to 500,000 then I sold it to a friend for $500. Was my daily driver when I sold it.

Excellent. My 02 is about to hit 300k on the original motor and I know I am on borrowed time. Was going to put a brand new GM engine in it but I cant find new ones any more. Looks like it will be a Jasper

Glad to hear the good report on the Jasper! That is my plan for my current F150... I'm about to roll over the 200K mark and so far this 5.0 has been pretty much flawless... It's a 2018 King Ranch and at the cost of new ones like it today, I'm absolutely going to just give 'er a new power house when this one craps out... Hope that's down the road a ways, but sure is good to know these Jasper engines are an OK replacement.

my 04 sierra is named Ol' Silver also. It still got everything original at almost 300k and running great. I want to go another 100k with it also.

I drove my 1970 C20 for 325k and sold it for $500. After that I trade them off at 200K. My 2005 silverado I traded in on the 2019 High Country had just rolled 200k mostly highway and still had the original brake pads on it. I don't drive as much anymore and the 2019 High Country just rolled 24K. The key to engine life in a Cheby is to drive it like you stole it and change the oil twice as often as the book recommends.

I’ve got almost 380,000 on my 01 with the original motor and transmission. My time is getting closer to doing the same thing

Wish I would’ve kept my 07. Drove it to 280k miles and sold it because I got the new truck itch. That ‘07 gave me less issues than my last two “new” trucks combined
