    Crossbow Help

    Hello GS,

I need some advise. My wife is consistently hitting high with her crossbow(Mission Sub-1) 4 to 5 inches. Left and right are no issue just high. I know the crossbow is on because I can hit the exact spot I aim at every time. I have even gone as far as bump the scope adjustment down several clicks and we are still seeing the same issue. I have her shooting @21 yds.I also have her shooting off of a bipod to aide with the aim. I am not sure how to handle the situation but would love to get some responses on a way to get this corrected so she feels comfortable when the time comes. Thanks for any input.

hard to say for sure, but last time that happened to me with a guest was because they were not properly resting their cheek on the stock and so they were getting an inaccurate look thru the scope and shooting several inches high.

you still have to follow thru the shot till the arrow clears the rail.

          How many is "several clicks"?
If it's a 1/2 moa scope, I would assume it's going to take about 20-25 clicks to move 4-5" at 20 yards.

I believe 10 or so I'll try some more to see if that helps. Thank you
