    Stranger Things

Watching season 4 with the wife. I think perhaps this show is for the nerds from the 80s. While I was not the popular crowd ( somewhere between stoner and roper) I never marched in the band or played DND. I don’t get this show at all but I’m tolerating it for her.

I’m basically done with this season already after turning two characters into homosexuals up until this year I felt fine letting my kids watch it.

Really? My girls, 8 and 11, like it. Seems like every **** show out there just has to shove this **** down our throats. They wont be watching it now.

That’s the truth everything that I used to let my kids watch as the new seasons come out they’re turning characters are adding characters that are homosexuals. My kids are the same age as yours it’s getting ridiculous all the way around.

Didn’t know until recently the little red haired girl, Max (Sadie Sink), is from Brenham.

It's what the band geeks or geeks play, back in the 80s. I am going to guess, it morphed into Harry Potter. Listening to people talk about Harry Potter, sounds a lot like the crap I heard geeks talk about in school back in the 80s, when they were talking about Dungeons & Dragons.

There are video games now days that also sound like they are based on Dungeons & Dragons. Such as there are goals to acquire things, that give you different abilities.

For years, I have thought that some of the video games and Harry Potter, were created by geeks from the 80s who used to plan DNG.

My wife has been looking for new shows for us to watch, there are a few, we have thought about watching, but have not ye. Now I know not to bother watching Stranger Things, if it's along those lines.

LMAO, I never played DND but on Pardon my Take they play every once in a while, it's hilarious. I kind of want to play it! But it would have to be with someone like that. Hopefully someone listens to their pod and knows what I am talking about.

I like the season, a show you def have to watch from episode 1.

Hoping Will is a teen dad.. throw that twist in there.

It’s basically a young teenage boy having feelings towards his best friend and a older teenager girl hiding the fact she likes girls. Nothing too crazy my kids (9 and 14) watch it and really don’t pick up on it. It cusses a bit which I think would be more of a concern than the “homosexuals”

Good. They love the show. I was thinking it was gonna be full blown homo. Cussing is everywhere nowadays. Wish it wasnt but it is.

That Will might be gay is purely speculative at this point. Regardless it's not like they're revolving the show or storyline around any of it, so I've not minded.

There's just so much going on this season, almost too many subplots, but it's going to be interesting to see how they tie it all back together. I'm just excited for El to get her powers back and kick some ***. LOL
