I am not too good at the gun stuff yet, still fling mostly arrows, but I recently acquired a 257 Weatherby Magnum and would like to know what laser bore sighter to get that will work in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not familiar with brands as I just do the ole look down the barrel and center the target in it and adjust the scope from there. Usually gets you on paper at 100 yds. But any bore sight that’s .25 cal should work. My favorite caliber too.Last edited by Muddy Bud; 01-18-2022, 04:01 PM. -

Just remove the bolt and bore sight it at 25 yards, its easy and will save you the money on a 257 Weatherby Magnum laser bore sighter that you may only use once. Here are some videos on how it is done

I've had good luck by taking the bolt out and looking down the barrel at a target and adjusting the scope to the target. Works for AR's too.Comment

I've got one very similiar to this below. I don't know where I got it but probably didn't pay much for it. It will get me close and not caliber specific but for zero dollars you can use the method above too.
