    Stolen utv, trailer at Anchor storage

    Recovered. but I got a call this morning about 8 that the cops had found my utv and trailer off of storage property. Apparently they had a burglary call, Came out to investigate and didn’t see my utv and trailer there. Then they got a call for a person shot. So all the cops took off to that, When they came back hours later. My utv and trailer looks like it was abandoned, botched robbing it. So they broke a few straps, punched my ignition on my utv. I got it all up and running. But the cops told me they have been burglarized 4 times in the past 4 weeks. So if you have stuff up there. Watch out.
    This is anchor storage in Corinth texas. Today was my last day up there with my utv trailer. I have never received a email from them about the place being burglarized. Think they would put people on alert. But no. This stuff was locked up tight, tongue lock, which they broke off, chains around all the tires, utv chained to the trailer. There are trailers up there with no locks at all so I think they wanted the utv, although mine is old and not worth much.

        Yeah, old and not worth much for sure, but worth a lot to me. There are other utvs worth a lot more there, that’s what I was getting at. Don’t know why they would pick mine.

          I’ve been in touch with anchor storage management. They don’t seem to want to alert their patrons, or do anything about the security of the place. They put up game cams around the gate, but we know how great that works when thrives show up, they destroyed and took the cams. If your up there, go check on your stuff, they don’t know what has been stolen until the patron alerts them. They have told me they are liable for nothing. So why would you care what’s stolen if nobody knows.

            If your still looking for storage there is a place in oakpoint that I use on 720. They have never been burglarized to my knowledge and are 50 bucks a slot.

              Thanks, I’m gonna keep my trailer at work for the time being. Just spoke with the officer and they had a lot of stuff stolen that’s been reported so far, truck, trailers, atvs. So I wasn’t the only one. No one caught yet, said they where wearing gloves, prints didn’t look great.
