    Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater Inshore Fishing Success!!!

    My wife and I extended one of my business trips into a vacation in Clearwater. We booked a fishing trip through air bnb experiences and went out this morning with Capt John Hamilton aka Capt Skunkbeard and had a fantastic outing. Lost count of the total fish, 20ish or so. We were fishing inshore, just off St Pete. We hammered snook all morning on the edges of the mangroves. Also managed a pair of snapper and a very lost Jack Crevalle.

    Joh runs a new 24’ bay boat and was very energetic, fun and instructional and patient… even when my wife cast deep into the mangrove… and caught a BIRD!

    Would totally recommend him and I know there are several taking vacations out this way. He’s easy to find on Facebook Or Google

    One of our best vacations was Clearwater. The place is on a different level clean. Looks like you smashed them on this trip.

                  Dude… I’m lucky I still have that pinky. Me and 3 other guys were lifting a pallet Jack and the handle fell and my finger was in the mechanism. They all stood there while I screamed because they couldn’t set it down.

                        Cool! I worked there for several months back in 2004 and went wade fishing every afternoon! First snook I caught I swear I had something 20 pounds at least and it got off before I could see it and it was replaced with a 5lb snook. I hooked a monster at a boat ramp countless times but he broke me off in seconds every time. Fun times!

                          Yeah they give a pretty good tug for sure. Wife and I actually hooked up on our first cast each. My 1st one was a solid fish and I didn’t wear him out against the drag out away from the boat and he snapped it off trying swim under the boat.

                              Great sport fish and i think they taste great! Spent many of summers in and around fishing that same area with my uncles.
