Baked tater tots were served at the Morvan domicile tonight. A debate has broken out. Question to the GS Arbitration Panel is: Baked Tater Tots - Yay or Nay? Go.

As long as they are baked long enough to be crispy. Life is too short for soggy tots

We eat frigging baked tater tot’s every dang day at work! Tater rounds tater tots, fried tots, crispy tots, tonies on top, nothing on top, oven fried with tons of oil and yes occasionally tots baked in an oven and pulled out when they have just started to barely turn color leaving them slightly mushy. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a baked tot that falls apart from being a little mushy. As long as it’s hot inside it still tastes good.

Spread em out on a baking sheet, top with chopped onion and bake until crispy. Put shredded pepper jack cheese on for the last couple of minutes. You welcome.

Yes please. Just about anyway you like, just get them crispy.
Our favorite is to fry them in a pot of oil that was just used to fry a turkey or few. Those are our favorite tots and fries. |
