Live: Yaupons, Pine and a lil Cedar

It’s about that time. Just finished my first home inspection and headed to my second with an Academy pit stop planned. I’ll be in by 4pm when the wind switches. I picked up a new property I call 3 oaks, still hunt the “grass farm” and the river as well. I’ll be bouncing around to all 3 with Oklahoma and my cousins Lee Co ranch mixed in

I made an opening weekend trip with the purpose of getting my FIL a deer with archery equipment at my cousins ranch. We were able to get it done and I doubled up with a doe the same morning as well.

I’ll update after my next inspection when I’m headed in.

Ive been taking it pretty easy waiting on a deer to show worth hunting. The new 3 Oaks place has come through despite being only a 40 acre piece. This deer showed the last two nights in the food plot with a group of 9 does that are regulars. First mature buck on the place and he is a hammer. Named him Meat.
