    Wyoming Antelope Hunt October 2021

Me & twdjr just got back from a Great time in Wyoming. Spent a week chasing speed goats & enjoying the beautiful outdoors. We saw LOTS of goats, elk, deer, badgers, wild horses, prairie dogs & all kinds of small critters. We put 1500 miles on his truck over 5 1/2 days driving the unit not counting the 2500 there & back. Saw over 50 bucks every day, only problem was they were cookie cutters. 12 in or less ,not much mass & cutters. On the next to last day, I saw this one & thought he looked a little better. I was going to kill one for sure, because I love antelope meat. I will take it over any kind of venison etc. When I walked up to him I was surprised at how heavy he was. One of those few times the horns didn't shrink when you walked up to the animal on the ground. We spent another day & a half but Ted ,just didn't see the one he wanted so we headed back before the bad weather set in the next day. Snow & temps in the 20's didn't sound too inviting. LOL! It was a great trip & Thanks again Ted for all the work & driving you put in to make this trip happen!

Sorry about pic quality. Some are kinda blurred

Wild Horses Really cool to me.

    Season be changing!

    Wy Sunrise!

    This size was all over.

    Great time & Happy Hunter!

Nice buck, great prongs and mass.
    Congrats on your hunt !

That storm has I-80 closed this morning and we got about 6 inches in Laramie. Glad you got out before it hit !

All our ducks will be on the way down now.

Congrats David. I’ve never chased speed goats, but it’s definitely on the list. Looks like you and Ted had a great time!

We have snow now and it may have pushed some more pronghorn into 38 along highway 34. Pretty sparse yesterday as we drove up to check horses but they move around a lot along that highway on the Laramie side.

Good beer at The Library in Laramie.

That dude has some awesome cutters!

              How big is he?

That mass makes me think he'll go 70"+.

              Congrats!

That’s a pretty good looking goat. The meat should be right tasty too.
