Check out this Earless pig my husband shot the other night. We had it on camera last year. We couldn't tell if it's ears were chewed off or if they just weren't there. Now we have our answer. I don't think they were ever there, because there's no opening.

Was gonna say probably cut for marking before I saw the pic. Poor dude doesn't even have any holes.

I killed one like that a few years ago. Mine had one ear and then one that wasn't there and no ear canal or anything. Was this killed near Flint or elsewhere?

I trapped one several miles south of you a few years ago. It had canals, and I figured it was used to train hog dogs, but managed to get away. Looked like an ant eater more than a pig. That one is definitely weird looking.

For those who say "hogdoggers" the game camera picture was last year when this 80# sow was a piglet. It was born this way.

Killed one in Centerville last year. It had no ear canals either

Had a blind 40 lb piglet one year.
Poor thing Kept getting left behind when the sounder ran off.

Ive seen them with only 3 legs and I have seen some with a 5th leg, but never seen one without any ears. Thats pretty wild.

Interesting, we killed one in Cherokee county about 4 or 5 years ago that looked just like this, no ears and same color.

That is wild but not as crazy as 5 legs. Boy pig? Like a donk or tripod nickname type of thing or a real leg?

Real 5th leg, was pretty funky looking. Was a back leg and was fully developed, just wasnt connected at the hip socket. Just flopped around.

I do have a doe that was accidentally caught in a hog trap last year and a dog shredded her ear. The trapper drove up on the dog while it had the doe's ear, and it was also on camera, but the dog ran away before the trapper could shoot it. Now we still have the doe and call her Oney. She oney got one ear!

I'll see if I can find a recent picture.

I have run cattle for close to 50 years. Iv'e seen lots of problrms with them and their calves. Had one a few years ago that didn't have colon conncted his anus. Had to put him down. Also had a calf born without clef pallet and when he sucked milk shout out his nose. Just part of it.

Way to go Enoch for your pig. Was this a chance hunt or one that was on the list because of previous sightings. Genetics are interesting.
