    Mule 4010 bumper upgrade project

Decided to stiffen-up the factor front bumper on the Mule 4010. Some 1/8” plate, some time with a drill and grinder, and a couple hours in the welding shop.

Wow that looks great. You could just run the deer down out there in West Texas.

Are you worried about it overheating? It looks good but your radiator is blocked pretty good

Not at all. The holes should give it enough. As well as the gaps I built in. The mule’s top speed is 20-25 and usual is 5-10 so the fan is the cooler and not air thrust from speed. There are a few aftermarket guards that are solid and have no problems.

Good thick coat of self-etching primer/paint and she will be off to get bedlined next week.

              Looks good

Did you dimple die the holes?

Update: We can drive UTV's around town legally (Shiner) and we used ours almost every weekend to take the kiddos fishing at the park and to drive to Howard's for a cold one. Sometimes in triple digit heat and never took her out of low gear. No over-heating issues at all.
