How is life in this town. I narrowed it down to this place. Anybody live in this area. I'll be purchasing some land by Hwy 287/59 any feedback is appreciated

I think you mean 287/69. My grandparents lived in Warren. It holds a special place for me. Growing up shelling purple hull peas, picking okra, gathering Catawba worms and fishing with my pawpaw, who was an original member of B.A.S.S. Good times for sure. I'm no help though. Haven't been there in years.

Couple of folks I work with live there. They all like it, supposedly pretty good schools. Short drive to Rayburn!

One of my best friend and his wife just moved there and love it. When I go to their house it feels like I'm going to a deer lease in the woods!

Warren TX is on US287, when did they rename the hwy?

Lived in warren my whole life (26), the small town is great, very nice ppl but I'm not 100% sure my children will be going to school there (idk if that matters to you just throwing it out there) but the town itself is great.

Used to hunt on a lease in Warren, and had a problem with poachers. But that's all I know about the area.

It's just Hwy 69 to the warriors, 287 splits off 69 in woodville towards Chester
|

Just came across this. We've had land in Warren since my great grandparents bought it in 1923. My wife, 2 boys and I moved here in 2020 after covid. We love it. Love to meet some TBHers in the area!

I bought a place in Warren (7 years ago), 25 acres of pure paradise if you love the woods and peaceful time. Sold my house in Mont Belvieu last year and live there full time now. Love it!

I grew up in Warren. My folks have lived there over 50 years now. Small town America for sure. Cell service is terrible lately
