Default Bed Frame for my Son

Was shopping for a new bed frame for my son and then decided to make one.

Much nicer than my first bed! Had a sisal rope checkerboard to hold the mattress. Well done.

Good job! That'll last forever! Dad built us bed frames with drawers underneath when we were in jr. high. I'm 47 and still have it-daughter is using it now!

This is my next project. I hope I remember to take pictures of the process and not just the end product.

Looks good, but I have to know. Did you have to take it apart and put it back together to get it in his room.

I did not have to take it apart, I just took off the cross braces.
He's room is upstairs and we basically just picked it up and carried it all the way to his room, put the braces on and threw on the mattress.
