two key words here are free and pallets. dont pass up free. and oak will last ten years. just keep the floor from water contact and your good.

I'm a big fan of using "recycled" material. That blind won't win any "light weight" contests, but it should last a long time.

Using my lawn mower ramps as a skid so i can move it with my John Deere lawn TRACTOR ...it gets used like a big boy tractor lol

I used old cedar fence slats on mine but I think the pallet wood looks more rustic and better. The free part is nice for sure.

That's purdy cool. And HEAVY looking! The new issue of NWTF's Turkey Country also has a blind build uses old pallets. It's not near as involved as yours though, lol.
