Benny, I got in trouble last night making you beans!
Put them in the crock pot over night, started them about 6 yesterday evening. After working a double, wife woke up at 2 am stomach growling because she could smell them! She got up and ate a bowl. She told me this morning DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN! THEY SMELLED SO GOOD I COULDN'T SLEEP!!!
Good stuff brother! Thanks for sharing!

I bought a bean pot from goodwill actually and it works great. www.shopgoodwill.com is their site for online auction type sells. I have used it for everything from crystal decanters ($10) to Lucchese ostrich boots ($47). They currently have 6 or 7 bean pots on there, but they arent really big.

Man that is cool! Thanks for sharing the link to the bean pots, may have to make a purchase when I get home.
I had these beans for lunch, one of my buddies had a taste. He is sold! He is begging for the recipe! This batch turned out great, absolutely perfect. I am swole up from eating beans and a dozen corn tortillas.

                                My First Attempt

I added some peppercorn medley and black pepper to put a little more kick in them. Turned out great!! The wife loved them and she's not a bean peron!
