Almost done with mine now....couple more coats of paint, then some stencil camo and I'll post pics of mine. I built it with 4' legs.

                    Thanks Damon

After reading Damon's thread on his pop-up platform, I got the itch and put one together on Saturday. Dropped it off at the lease on Sunday and it was up in less than two hours. It was a little tricky doing it alone

I put some indoor/outdoor carpet on top to quiet it down and the trapdoor entrance like Damon did. I also took a bow holder that you scew into the ground and put it in a block of wood that I screwed to the floor.

I think this setup is going to be my favorite.

These look cool and are definitely inspiring!

One question: Why not enclose platform with plywood and have some shooting windows? Is it weight? Portability? Price of materials? Thinking about embarking on a project to make some of these on my family's place and was thinking about a permanent blind...

For me it is the weight and portability... And I like hunting out of pop ups....

Great ideas! I'm gonna have to try this... The biggest thing I fear is a rattler inside my popup at 5:30am...

This was my Amerighetto gun blind last year. Yes, I went a little too far with the platform!
