Packed up and are headed back today. Did not fill one tag. Elk where/are there, just could not close the deal. Between the 3 groups of us, we had 3 different spike camps. Did not get a shot off, but we all had a great time. We put in lots of miles. Maybe next year.

Sounds like my trip last year. Wasn't able to close the deal. Just being in the mountains is worth the hard work. Keep after them.
