    Outdoor tv covers

I finally got a tv mounted at my pavilion outside my house. The tv is protected from rain but Is there one cover better than the other out there? Curious how long my tv will last in the elements. TIA

I’ve got a standard outdoor tv cover but I don’t have any idea how long the tv will last. Mine is going on 5 yrs

Should last quite a few years as long as it’s not getting wet. Speakers may eventually give way to the moisture. My current one is going on over 2 years, being covered.

I've used just about every option out there. Metal case. Grill cover material. Canvas. You name it. I found. Leaving it wide open under a over best. Have a clean microfiber rag ready. Quick dust off. Enjoy. Every couple months blow compressed air through the vents.

I’ve got a Lish waterproof canvas cover off Amazon that Velcro’s closed, and has a front flap that folds over when opened. It’s been up for three years now and the TV, Apple TV and sound bar all look and work like brand new, it’s faded from the sun, and gets rained on occasionally but still works great.

I’ve had one under the patio but uncovered for over 10 years and it still works just like new

I’ve had one under my patio for over 3 years uncovered and never had any issues. Even made it through the freeze last year.

Yep. This. As long as direct sun and rain stay off it your good.

Thanks for the replies. I figured it being outside in the elements that it would have an effect on them. Great to hear.

Same as us maybe 5 years. our thinking is when it goes just get another one, they are cheap and now I'm seeing good TV's on the Nextdoor site for almost nothing.

We have a similar one. TV is only zipped/velcroed in wet weather. Works very well.
