            I hunt a lot with my uncles pre 64 model 70 in 30-06
            but that's why he left it to me he knew it would continue to take numerous critters.

                I wouldnt, with it being mint. I have rifles from my grandpa that I do use every season but they were used before I got them. I have multiple guns in my safe that i've never shot before after I purchased them though.
