Let's get this kicked off. Definitely not the beginning we all hope for with the wide spread drought. Hopefully spring rains will bless us all in the coming weeks. As always post up any rain totals, safety issues, lease openings or any help needed. Everyone do their part to help any new hunters heading south and keep them informed as needed.

Safe travels to all and good luck this Season

Headed down Sat to fill cottonseed feeders. Deer are hammering the fuzzy stuff. I'm going to pay Gonzalo $50 to do an Indian rain dance even though he may only be 50% Indian!!! Hell, I might even dance with him if it will make it rain!

I got back this afternoon. This is my third year to hunt Mexico. Driest I’ve seen it so far. Roads on our ranch are like powder. We put out more cottonseed and two one ton protein feeders. We filled all the cottonseed feeders three weeks ago. Every single seed was gone in all of them. Planning on adding more cottonseed feeders and protein feeders every trip. Enjoy following the thread.
