            Actually, my friend, the 60's were the best times to grow up. Great music with the doo whop, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Mamas & Papas and many more...plus...we then also got to listen to the 70's music.

                I agree -my entire high school and college years were in the 70’s and the Allman bros were a top three for me in those years - so many great bands back then. Commodores we’re not my fav but I must admit that more than once I drug my target for the evening out on the floor to groove to “Brick House”

                    Every decade had such a variety of music it's actually all subjective to taste...my Dad was born in the mid 40's & he didn't listen to any of the 60-70 music I indulged myself in heavily during the 80's.

                    One of my favorites that broke in the mid 70's & did a four decade tour...lotsa folks just don't get them. Their first album was without the GOAT drummer on the planet & was solid R&R. RIP Neil.
