    Pottery artifact

One of my brothers was out moving cows one day a couple of decades ago. He noticed the top of this pitcher sticking out a little bit out of the sand. Came back to the spot at a later time and was able to dig this out.

It has a missing piece at the top. But other than that it was intact.

It’s probably a few years old.

Me and my brother have dug a few from camps over the years. That is a good one. Its hard to find them not broken into pieces especially down here on the coast. We mostly have goose creek type pottery and its easily broken.

Those are pretty cool. Look to be in decent condition. What’s the age range of that pottery?

Spanish ran them out in about 1540 so pretty old if it's original.
