Thanks y'all! As for the story, I had been hunting a big axis for about two months, 2 to 4 evenings a week and getting the big boys in bow range is tough! Even in a high fence. Thankfully my buddy was just as eager for me to get the big one as I was! My lil girl and I were sweating to death hunting in august and two big ones came in right at dark. The one I wanted and the one I shot! Just as I was about to draw , blackbuck came in and pushed the two axis off my hand corn. At this point light was fading fast but one axis showed back up and I still had enough light to see my pins. I swore it was the big one and I let it fly! After the shakes wore off my daughter decided to tell me that she thought it was the smaller one and after a 300yd track , she was right! This one measures 34.5 and 33.5 but the one I was after is 38+ ! Hopefully I can get him next year, that way I can stop the I told you so's ! Thanks for reading
