I think LSU will cover the spread against Georgia.

Well after playing like crap saturday, all LSU can do is play spoiler. But Georgia wont come out flat and i think they beat the tigers by 17.

Would love for Utah to win but i dont think any of the top teams get beat and think the CFP is these 4.

Seeing several projections for TX Tech to the Cheez-It Bowl vs Mack & UNC or FSU, which could be fun. K State/Bama could be a good game and UT/UU would be a good match as well. TCU/USC would be a fun game to watch but looks like TCU/Michigan is more likely if nothing changes. Go Froggies!

I would not be upset if I get to watch the Horns play their bowl game just a short uber ride away.

Texas was looking for improvement from last year and they got it. They were 22 points away from being undefeated so even the games they lost, they were in them. They slipped up vs Tech and OSU which cost them playing for the Big 12 Championship. All in all, year 2 was what it was supposed to be for Texas. Now they need to be net positive in the portal and finish up a good recruiting class.

I read this and I agree but then I look at TCU in year 1 with alot less talent.

Texas can only run its race.

TCU is on a great run and sometimes teams just have those years and the ball bounces their way. It appears to be TCU's year, but doesn't change the fact Texas improved and that is all they can control.

Longhorn WR Isaiah Neyor is a beast with NFL talent. He’ll be back next year after sitting this one out with injury.

If he can escape the injury bug, he will quickly rise to the top at Texas next season.

Worthy sees this. The portal makes sense for the 160 pound speedster. He’s been fun to watch but can he survive in the NFL?

yeah...but nobody nationally gives a flip about TCU honestly.....

its all about money and ratings...we all know that...

This committee is looking for any reason to drop TCU to 5...a loss in the Big 12 game would do it....

I agree with this, the committee is praying TCU and one other slip up so they can get Ohio State and Alabama back in the top 4.

I'm just a fan much like you. Those were just my thoughts. Over the last 12 years Texas never seems to make the right hire while others a short distance away do. We'll see how next season goes.

Absolutely. It’s easy to be jealous of their instant success this season but in the end what matters to me is the success of the team in Austin. While I’m disappointed in some overall things on the season, the overall body of work was there for me.

It will be interesting to see if f Neyor can bounce back. Knees on receivers are tricky to come back from as they guys need to be able to trust it and play with it. Texas is still waiting on Troy Omeire back from his two years ago and I don’t think it’s going to happen.

The Worthy body language bothered me all year. I know Sark calls it his ultra competitiveness and drive to be great, but I call his bs on that.

In todays crazy portal / nil world teams just need to be net positive overall. You will drive yourself mad trying to make sense of what kids are going to do.

Can't discount the super senior QB with all those years of experience helping make Dykes job easier. A talented QB with mucho experience does a lot for a team. I wonder where TCU would be right now if the QB Dykes picked at the first of the season, didn't get injured and Dykes stuck with him all season. I'm not discounting what Dykes has done in that. He's certainly done well with what he inherited.



We'll see how he does next year .

I think after this year Jimbo has to give up the play calling, if not there's 2 things. 1) no big name/good OC will come to work under him if they aren't given the keys to call the offense. 2) He will get fired and bought out of his contract and I doubt anyone will ever hire him again if he goes that route. Which I know he has $90,000,000 reasons to not care and never coach again. But you gotta think someone with his background and name wouldn't want to be known as the guy that caught lightening in a bottle to win one NC and then be too stubborn to change and p*** away an opportunity/school that literally gives you every penny you would ever need to assemble everything you need to win.
