Higher prices might just be a blessing for some folks

So I’m guessing orange corn cost around 11 a bag if regular corn is 8 ?

The cheapest corn is about $8 per 50 lbs right now. If you can find something better for less money please let us all know.

Yes, you can buy some types of protein that deer will eat cheaper than corn. For example, AllStock at Atwoods is a 13% feed that our deer will slam. It is $1.00 bag cheaper than corn. Is it better than DD or Antlermax - NO, but to your point you can buy as cheap or cheaper than corn.
Many Thanks I will look into AllStock.

Anyone ever consider hunting deer rather than feeding em?

Nope. And I’ve never considered walking to work when I have a perfectly good truck to drive either.

All stock makes a sweet feed pellet that I put out at the house. You can’t keep the axis off of it!

Here we go. smh. Use that same logic when hunting ducks. You shouldnt need water or vegetation just lay on you back in a nasty parking lot. Im sure there plenty of them in SW LA.

Dang sure not spending that, that's really stupid to do.

Ever try hunting ducks without water?

You still need to mix any sweet feed or all stock with corn or some other dry grain or pellet or it will compact and plug up a feeder, especially a broadcast/spin type feeder. The molasses in the feed makes it sticky. Ask me how I know.

I use all stock as well for Axis and whitetails. It’s more expensive than corn though. I wouldn’t put it in a spin feeder though. Just pour it on the ground and that find it.

Too bad you are not on the property next to ours. We could pull your deer too
