Congrats!!! I still have a couple more years to go before I can pack it up I am in year 25.

Good luck on your new profession. Everyone thinks that teachers sit around and sip cocktails when they retire most have to find a second career.

          Wish you well.

Congrats and sounds like it is well deserved. Don't get sideways with that new boss of yours or you may end up in the dog house.

Okay, for all of you that have retired, how much money do you need to have saved to "know you have enough"?

I’ve only been retired 1.5 years, so will let you know once I reach 95.

Depends on how long you plan to live.
Personally I've invested in land so if push came to shove I could sell it but I have a retirement and am currently working a business so I can buy more land.
If you don't work for a corporate entity that uses your money and theirs to provide a retirement then I'd suggest at least 10% of your income invested wisely.
