    Lake Belton Catfiishing... help please

    I have a 6 year old grandson and a boat. Ive gone 3 timed and we have got skunked thee times. Any help would be appreciated. TIA Chrisjgott@gmail.com

    Use sour grain and chum for them. It will produce results.

      I'm not on belton, but for catfish, me and my son just get a can or two of Canadian night crawlers from Walmart. Run a bobber up about 12 to 14 inches above the worm. We mainly fish creek areas though.

        Dump a bag of range cubes in 5-10 foot of water near a drop off, ledge, point, or other structure. Then go back and fish it the next day with your fav punch bait/and a bobber. Channels should be in there by then.

          I grew up on that lake. If you’re going for channel cats get some shrimp and go right in front of west cliff park in about 10-15 ft of water. I used to hit limits when I was younger there doing just that off the bank by the swim beach and dock.
