Mountain lion sighting

Not something us Texans see every day. I was 30-60 seconds behind seeing him alive. He was tagged and collared by the department of wildlife in Colorado. Kind of sad to see, but very cool at the same time. Awesome looking animal.

This begs the age old deer farm hunting question. Do you mount him with the ear tag and collar intact or remove them?

Call the contact info on the collar and tell the biologists about it. Could be some very cool movement/dispersal data. Collars battery could be dead. I wouldn't assume the collars data is being sent to anyone. Plus they are expensive and I'm sure they would like it back

Sorry, been driving all day. Yes this cat was hit by a car just east of steamboat springs. The police arrived shortly after and they were going to call dept. Of wildlife.
