HEB had their Butts on sale so I fired up the smoker and cooked a couple of them. I wrapped them in foil after smoking for 6 hours and finished in oven for another 3 hours till they hit 200°-205°. After pulling and discarding all fat that had not rendered out I incorporated the juices back into the meat that cooked out in the foil and added some of my home made pulled pork BBQ sauce.

Ok I am hunting hog on a public hunt but not seeing any so HEB here I come. Looks good. My grandkids love it because it is called Butt and they and myself also do not get in trouble saying it and having fun with the name. Now where did Boston get involved? Franklins in Austin look out! I cook mine as long as I can stand it. Never overcooked with it set to the side as so much yummy fat. But if it can be ruined, bet I am a candidate
