    I can do my own Grind - To - fit pad but what do you think about the newer Pacmayer Decelerator Slip - On Recoil Pads

          Yes I agree with the slip - on and just downloaded the Pachmeyer sizing chart. Going to square the stock butt 1st.
          Actually a nice laminated K98 stock that was cut down...

            My bro in law has been telling me how nice the slip on is that he put on his rifle.

            I just can't force myself to tell him how it looks and hurt his feelings.

              Yup. A slip on is a temporary fix. I will always grind to make it look good.

                If ur goin back with original wood, go all the way and grind it. Make it look really good. Post up some pics. Would like to see it when finished

                  I sure will post some pictures. Just got the recoil pad yesterday and doing a total stock re-finish
