It's become a tradition for my family to go to the beach for a week with my wife's side of the family. This year we made the trek to Galveston and it has been a great week. The weather has been great, the water clear, and the beach is in great shape.
Tomorrow is our last day and we're capping the trip off with a fishing trip looking for shark.
I'm finally getting a chance to work through some photos today and as is usually the case, I wish I'd have pulled my camera out more.
We had a storm roll past a few days ago. It was fun to watch it develop and then break up from the comfort of my beach chair.

It was quite the surprise to find this log washed ashore. As the sun began to set the sky seemingly rolled through every shade on the color wheel.
