2004 4Runner. Daily driver. Just replaced front wheel bearings, front struts, & rear shocks. Also had to replace valve cover gaskets last month. 210,000 miles and runs like a top. Parked my 3/4 ton diesel in 2014 and bought the 4Runner. Feels like a race car to me.

Thank you!!

The one on the Tacoma is really good looking. I'd imagine they are similar. I bought it from Bumperstock.com becasue it was free shipping and tax was included in the listed price. My installer couldn't touch it. I did pay him $100 to install it though. I attempted to do it but I just don';t lay on the concrete like I used to when I did my F350 front and back. lol About 5 minutes in said, for $100 knock yourselves out!

I'll echo what DMO said about the bike pump to hit the bags. That's all I use from the boat to travel trailer. Ive found its about 1psi per pump with my set up and I have yet to run over about 15psi

My guys (3 of them) are setting their's at 50-60lbs with 1000-1500 lbs of corn on our rocky bumpy lease roads. So you are telling me your hand pump does only 1 PSI per pump? That would be 50-60 pumps... I could get my ViAir out before that....no?..

Saw a guy who had a pigtail rigged so his portable compressor plugged into his trailer light plug right there.....

A little cardio never hurt anyone.

And 50-60 lbs seems excessive for that much load. We put less than that hauling fourteen 7 foot round bales from limestone to cypress

Depends on your trailer tongue weight with that load. Your trailer tongue weight is going to different than direct bed weight... those half tons sag pretty bad with 1500lbs of corn in them....

Cardio is a bad word around here..

We also tow 5200 lbs of water on a 16' tandem flatbed. Two 325 gallon totes full... I think the major player is the bounce in the roads though. Never had to worry about it with my one ton but my lease members seem to error on the side of caution with their half tons so I was following their lead..

Probably to an extent. The hay load was on a 3/4 short bed 4x4 7.3. We aired it with the gooseneck empty and it shot up 6" with 50lbs so we backed them down and carried a pump. Never added any air.

I have firestone ride rights on wifes 1/2 ton chebby and as mentioned I only put 15-20 in it even to haul a 28' bumper pull travel trailer. I initially added them to level the load when pulling my boat. There was a little sag in the truck and a guy mentioned keeping my trailer as level as possible since I have oil bath hubs. I bought the bigger bags thinking I may need 100lbs and could have gotten away with the smaller ones.

Either way if I ever get rid of my taco (get this thread back on track!) and go back to a 3/4 ton it'll have bags for the ride quality alone. Theyre just to easy to install and cheap to not do it

I never wanted more than 25-30 lbs in any of them, but those were different rigs. And big tongue weight on lease roads, I could see where it would best on a 1/2 ton. Seems like the yíall skinny type bike pump would air them up a lot faster than 1lb per pump, but that has been a few years. Either way, heíll love the versatility.

Supermomís urban assault rig got new blades the other day...now she wants a roof rack...ugh.

6" Pro Comp lift on 325/65 18's. I'm going to swap to a skinnier tire, it gets some rub at full lock. Overall clearance is good.

So I have decided to buy a 4Runner instead of getting a Tacoma . Question for those sporting the 4runners. Were you folks able to get much of sticker price?? Any factory options that you wish you had gotten or not gotten?? Would prefer to get a gently used one but will go new if I am basically having to pay the same price.

Any body in the San Antonio area that can recommend the better Toyota dealer there?
I was looking at a used one here in Del Rio but the sales peeps are terrible... Any and all recommendations on dealerships even as far as the DFW and Houston areas are welcomed...

They are really hard to find deals on. Maybe a little easier with the economy right now.

We got a screaming deal on ours because we bought it barely used at a friends dealership. He was having trouble selling it because the rebates on the new ones made them cheaper than the used ones at the time.

Got our 2016 TRD with 12k miles, icon suspension, and other goodies for 30k out the door in 2017.

If you are patient and look you can find deals, but you have to be ready to drive and buy that day!

Good luck.

Prinsu Rack. Don't remember the weight rating. But people put roof top tents and stuff on them. I just use it for kayaks occasionally.

Yep you can get pretty decent deals on them if you shop. Just e-mail multiple dealers and ask for a quote for the model you are looking at. Take the quote and pass it around a few times. It's a little work but will save you a decent amount.

I got a 2018 OR for 36k. It was priced a little over 40k.

Iíll play...

I bought a 2020 Cement Crewmax in March and have done a few mods so far.

-2.5Ē Toytec/Eibach springs/shocks and shimmed to 3Ē in the front. 1.5Ē block in the back (should have done 1Ē)
-JBA upper control arms to get alignment in spec
-AJT cup holder and shifter surrounds
-TRD Pro black housing LED headlights to replace the stock halogen lights.
-Had the dealer install a console safe when I bought the truck as well.
-Installed the guts from a wireless charger to the bottom of my console tray for wireless charging.

Planning on replacing the rear block with firestone ride rite airbags in the future. Havenít decided on a grill guard but I will need one for the lease due to all of the bump gates we have.

For those on the fence....those dang airbags were games changers this past weekend. No bed sag with 30 sacks of corn or a 16' pipe trailer loaded with 6,000 lbs of water over our rocky roads. Well worth the $300 investment after watching my buddies F-150STS sag bad with only 20 sacks earlier in the year. I'd imagine he'll have some coming his way soon. As long as I deer huntv where I need to haul feed or pull a boat, I will have a set on a half ton.

Default 4runner/Tacoma-Maybe Tundra mega thread!

Had several folks ask me today via PM what airbags I installed and where I got them so I figured I'd add a link for future folks who read through this later...

Mine was $299 plus tax delivered.

Got tired of dealing with my Ram 2500 & decided being an old man, I needed a little truck. After driving & riding in my sons tundra, decided on one. I am really liking this truck. Nice ride, plenty of power & doesn't have as much electronics & gizmos I don't want. Settled on a cement DC, but voodoo blue was a close 2nd. Probably because the dealer couldn't make me as good a deal as the cement he had in stock vs bringing in a voodoo. I did a stage 1 Icon level kit, 275/65/20 Toyo A/T III's, Ranch hand Midnight bumper & Tyger running boards. Just plasti-dipped the rear bumper for now. After writing checks for the truck & accessories, gotta take a breather. Sorry ,truck is dirty, lots of dust at ranch last weekend.

We are planning our first trip to big bend....I have until February or March to get the truck rigged out. Gotta get a lot of stuff squared away by then, water(both to drink and to wash), rotopax for fuel, high lift, camp stove ect. Iím beyond excited!

Ordered a Rough Country rear bumper for my Tundra. I fill feeders from the back of my truck and needed a wider/ stronger rear bumper than the stock tinfoil bumper to get my big arse in and out of. Trying to make my truck practical for my leases but not break the bank. It was a good price point with solid reviews. Canít believe some of the rear bumpers in the $1300-1500 range. . RanchHand doesnít make a rear with backup sensor holes so they were out.

RC should be in this week for me to put on.

Anyone had luck with aftermarket headlights for sequioa? Mine is a 2008 and I have tried rebuffing them but it did not work as well as I like. Would prefer to buy new without paying OEM prices.

That's a good looking rear bumper.
