LOL...Ö...my Landrover was not a big deal to maintain at all. Chevy's have been my pain in the butt. But my 07' Toyota Tundra was a pure pleasure to own. I hope my 2019 is born outta that same line!

Thank you sir!

33/12.50 on 18Ē wheels with a +12 offset

Iím running Bilstein 5100ís all the way around. I have the front set at highest setting which I believe is 2.5Ē or 3Ē, canít remember. 1Ē block in the rear.

I had to do very minor trimming up front. So little that it took me about 20 minutes tops once I figured out what I was going I do.

Thanks Jason. I can already tell Iím going to love having it. Iíve been fed up with cramming stuff in my back seat for a long time. Bed covers just donít give me the room I need sometimes. Iím going to buy a cheap winch and build me a lift out in my pole barn so if I ever need to take it off for something, it will be a one man job.

I've been threatening to go that route instead of the bed cover. That sure might have just put me over the edge..

Shop around and find trucks for sale at dealerships that have one on them and call the dealer and ask if theyíd be willing to sell it. Thatís how I got this set up today. Walked in with $600 cash and walked out with about $2500 or more worth of goodies.

And yes, I can already tell I much prefer this over the bed cover!! Kiddo has already asked me when weíre going to spend the night in it lol

I found that website and if it is legitimate they have some interesting information. I wonder how skewed or true all the data is, but I can see how they got the numbers.

My first vehicle was a 4Runner that I eventually burned the engine up on(my fault).

I drove a K5 blazer growing up and never missed having a bed. It was great and it was about 5 minutes to pull the top when we wanted too. I imagine this would be similar. Itís probably the fact that I drove the blazer so long thatís making me want to go to a 4 runner or get a camper. It was so convenient to put the back seats up and store all my gear in the back under roof.

Man. Iíve been a Chevy guy my whole life. Iíve been tempted by the Tacoma many times. Canít swing the mid size though. Pretty sure my next truck will be a tundra. Very curious as to what the redesign will look like rumored for 20121 model.

Unfortunately they bumped the redesign back to 2022.

Lucky for me, I plan on driving mine another couple hundred thousand, so it wonít matter. Unless they are just that good.

Need input on Sequoia! My 4runner is not going anywhere.

Wife is driving a 2007 lifted suburban. Tired of endless issues. Found a good deal on a 2012 Limited. 100k miles. Looks immaculate. My only hang up is it's 18k. I know its Toyota but I've only owned the v6 models. Should we get an easy 150-160+? There's not many options when you need v8 and third row. I'm about at the limit of the chevy.

To measure that longevity, iSeeCars.com analyzed data from 13.5 million used cars sold in 2017. Topping the list of long-lasting vehicles was the Toyota Sequoia large SUV, of which 6.6 percent of those sold had 200,000 miles or more on the odometer. That's 5.5 times the 1.2 percent average for all vehicles that made it 200,000 miles in the study.

200k miles should be no problem.

Bought my 06 Sequoia 6 years ago with 105,000 miles. 196,000 miles now and only tires and general maintenance.

If financing lines up I think we are going to pick up the sequoia. Got it down to 18k OTD. Hopefully gives the wife and kids a few years of reliable safe transportation.

Thinking about a Tundra (have owned several Tacos). My budget points toward a truck in the 85,000-100,000 mile range. Would you Tundra owners have any concerns about dropping $20,000-23,000 on a Tundra in that range?

Pretty much the same boat I am in. It is crazy prices have reached this.
You'll pay about the same for all of them. General consensus I have found is The toyota v6 and v8 are good for 300+ if you change the oil and don't abuse them.

It all depends on the trim and year model. Last year I paid $26K for an SR5 Crewmax with upgraded leather and 86K miles. That price was from knowing the manager and getting $3900 off list price.

If you can get into a Crewmax for less than 25K at those miles, and 2014 and newer, youíre doing good.

Man, its getting expensive to play! Looks like we are about to pull the trigger on the 2012 Sequoia. Crazy to think I am about to finance almost 18 on a 7 year old vehicle.

But the suburban went into limp mode on the wife again this morning. So..

Congratulations!

My advice is to buy some replacement driverís seat foam for it, because youíll wear out the seat foam before anything mechanical will ever go wrong.

Still in shock over what I just spend on a 100k mile vehicle. But it absolutely blows away the suburban so far.
Wish I would have bought this in the first place two years ago. 4x4 sequoia with a small lift would be amazing.

If the 4runner had this 5.7 it would be the baddest thing on the road.

Tons of power, super quiet and smooth, steering and throttle are super light. Just took it to grapevine and back.

Also pleasantly surprised it's getting 17.7 mpg. Not sure when the last time it was reset. But it hasn't changed any since we got it.

Nice. I had an 08 DC LB in red with a 3" lift back in the day. Loved it but wished it was that short bed version.

That will look sweet when lifted!

I wish they made 2nd gen TRD Offroads with a long bed but they didnít. I like the look of short beds but sometimes miss that extra room. This truck is currently lifted an inch. Not going much higher but looking for awesome ride quality.

Iíll get one for you tomorrow. I just put these wheels and tires on yesterday. They are off a TSS package from 2015-2020.

Yes, decided to go 17Ē due to more size and tire options in load range C.

Dad and I built a hidden winch mount, for my pavement princess, a few weeks ago.
