As ready as we can be for Laura. Mowed high grass in the pasture behind the house to help sheet flow run-off.
Hooked up the PTO generator and parked it by the the power pole. We bought this 15K generator after Ike destroyed our last home to use with our new barndo(10 years new now). 2 major hurricanes and haven't had to use it yet. Best investment we ever made.

How’s this for a camping spot? “Up the road” from our retirement house. I’m taking a break looking for elk- with 4 bars of cellular signal.

Tent area and the view the opposite direction. Tobacco Roots Mountains SW Montana looking east at the Madison Range past Ennis and Cameron.

There’s a couple griz here, and a problem with the large number there.

Made a run to Taft, Texas USA early this morning. Good seeing Breezy and doing a little horse trading. Bought a nice Brezina cap while we were there.

I felt sorry for the folks headed south when we came back. Traffic was stop and go south of Richmond.
