Yep, I always wondered how people could think one of if not the best player ever couldn’t bounce back and play good enough to win. He was finally putting like the old tiger that everyone remembers.

Yet, he is projecting humbleness and gratitude.

Needs to figure out driver direction, obviously. But, MAN, he hit some otherworldly recovery shots, pin-point approach shots, and clutch putts!

And, hat's off to Brooks Koepka for seizing the win!

Didn't win, no. But he got second, shooting a 64. Pretty bold to rule out another major win.

Tiger beat himself. If he could get his ball in the fairway most of the time he had a very good chance of winning this one.

Where ya been? He's played in 14 tournies this year including all 4 majors. Played well at the Open Championship too. If he could hit the ball in the Fairway he would have won the Open and the PGA...Ryder Cup will be a lot of fun.

Golf is better when Tiger is playing like Tiger. Doesn't matter if he's up by 30 or chasing somebodies *** like today, the guy is absolute clutch when the pressure is as high as you can make it. Sunday Tiger makes for some entertainment, regardless of his history you have to stand in awe of his ability to perform under pressure.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^This. Crazy to see him do this after all his injuries/surgeries and drama at his age. He's beating up on guys half his age that are healthy.

I’ll soak it up as much as possible! This isn’t Tiger in his prime, but he’s playing better than he has in years. I prefer to enjoy greatness in all sports rather than be bitter about somebody having success. I hope he wins a couple more majors!

Agee, he's adding excitement to the game. Probably not as much as in his prime, but excitement nonetheless. Great tournament this weekend

Exactly. Great theatre today. Like him or not, Tiger is a great competitor. Faldo summed it up pretty well when commenting on Tiger struggling most of the day and still ground out a 64. For all the money and championships he's won, he is still a fighter.

I get that a lot of folks don't like him or what he did, I didn't like what he did either. But I don't get the haters who can't enjoy it for what it is. Good golf. Whether Tiger wins again or not isn't really relevant anyway because only the future will tell. But he is absolutely capable of winning again and it is fun to watch.

Because his back was in shambles.....4 surgeries on it in 3 years. That is enough to do most men in. I ate my crow a long time ago. What I saw today was vintage Tiger. Now can he keep it up.

I am a Tiger fan, and he has very little raw talent imo. He has groomed and cultured talent, sculpted by an amazing father, since the age of 3 or 4(?).
Nicholas was raw talent. Nobody coached him from a early age, etc.. He simply had unbelievable hand eye coordination. The first time he ever picked up a set of clubs, he played 9 holes, and shot some ridiculous number like 45, and he was 11 or 12 by that time. He just had it. without anyone's help, or anyone pushing him.

I guess the next Tiger debate is whether he is worthy of being a captain's pick for the 2018 U.S. Ryder Cup team. Today was the final day to earn points and with his finish he moved up to #11. The top 8 are set and the final 4 will be captain's picks. It will be hard to keep him off the team when you look at how he has finished the year. On top of that, he garnered his points in only 14 events compared to 20+ events by most of the other players in the top 15.

I certainly want to see him playing and not just there as an assistant captain.
