I finished framing the roof today and got 2 windows in the bed area framed. I framed one of them with some timbers that are 3" X 12" and solid oak. A buddy of mine gave them to me and I thought they would look good with the stone that I'm going to finish the inside and outside walls with. It was a two man job with the timbers and since I was by myself, it kicked my butt.

I have my deerview window frames cut from cedar but ran out of time and didn't get them put in.

I bought the windows from a guy that was once a window salesman and bought both of them for $60.00 so I did good on that deal and that is why they are 2 different sizes. I have 1- 10"X 36" window left over from the Alamo and I'm going to put in 4 - 12" X 12" for hunting out of. There will be a petition wall between the sleeping area and the hunting area, I'm not for sure if I'll frame it or build it out of stone.
