Default Canadian Whitetail

Looking for recommendations for a Canadian outfitter for whitetail hunt in 2020 or 2021. Or a good booking agent. Thanks. Prolly more like 2021 as I am booked for two hunts next year already.

If you want to hunt alberta, I would suggest the following:

Alberta wilderness guide Service
North Alberta Outfitters

they both consistently kill vary large deer, hunting logging roads in the north bush country.

I am sure others will have some recommendations on Saskatchewan outfitters, as I have no experience in that province.

I went on a duck hunt in Alberta earlier this year with Great White Holdings. They kill some monsters up there every year. Might check them out.

I've hunted with Homestead Outfitters. Bob Heyde 780-751-2252. Great guy in an area with some amazing bucks.

Yes, I hunted with north Alberta outfitters. Was a great hunt, but we couldnít close the deal. They went above and beyond to try and put me on a big deer. AWGS was my second choice, and my outfitter also spoke highly of them.

They kill animals for sure, and I am sure you had a great experience. I am just going to provide my point of view based on the research I did 4 years ago before taking my trip.

Those boys don’t have the best reputation up there. I spoke with them, and they talk a good game. But a lot of references came back shady, including locals opinions of them. The dad and his boy bend the laws to work in their favor to kill big animals, and have gotten busted for it a few times. Count me as someone that doesn’t want to be put in a law breaking position in a foreign country.

I had read some really old reviews about them that said similar things. We had a good hunt and I didnít see anything shady going on. Maybe things have changed.

I have not personally, my uncle, cousin and his son are there now. They have already booked for next year. As I type this he texted me saying a little 6 just pushed 3 does across the logging road.

I'm hunting with Alberta Wilderness Guide Service for the first time in a few weeks and am beyond excited. I have been in constant communication with them for almost 2 years. Which to me if the guide takes the time and calls and emails his clients that far out in advance that they are a professional operation and will do everything in their power to ensure that you have a successful hunt. I'm sure my post hunt review of them will be just as stellar as my pre-hunt.

I would put great stock in this opinion, George. I have hunted with one of Hunter's outfits, and it was spectacular.

Hit up Jason (EZ-10RANCH). Not sure what outfitter he used but Iíve always been ****ed impressed with his Saskatchewan bruiser.

RockRidge Outfitters. I've hunted bear with them twice. Great people. Have good Whitetail as well. Been trying to get me up there for that but I just feel that if I'm traveling I'm shooting something different. Plus, its cold up there

If you're looking for an agent check out Antlers & Anglers. Good people and they are serious about who they recommend/book for.

BearPaw Outfitters is a good outfit to check out. I have hunted with them three times, twice for whitetail and once for Muley. I saw the biggest whitetails of anywhere I have hunted. Hunts are not cheap but they are 9 days so it gives you a little more time. Most hunts in Canada are 6 days. A friend i hunt with in Mexico is leaving for a Muley Whitetail combo with Great White on the 22nd. He has hunted with them before and liked their operation.

Wizard Lake Outfitters

check these 2 out. I've heard good things and have corresponded with both over the years. Good references.
