ARWR: Dumb, blind luck. Hahahahahaha!
And AMGN and JNJ didn't know what they were doing when they collaborated with ARWR.
What I said earlier in the thread was that I thought ARWR was as close to a sure thing as one can get in the stock market, implying that there is no such thing as a sure thing. I feel even stronger about that statement today than I did when I made it. And even at $38 per share, it is still just beginning.

Successful day traders work really long hours and are masters at their craft. Just like with all the other so called make a lot of money and do nothing schemes(real estate, etc.) there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scene that isnít always seen. . If you have the extra time, money and you enjoy it then go for it. Most people are more successful throwing that extra effort, time and money into their careers and letting a Trustworthy professional buy mutual funds for them JMHO

I wouldnít allow someone who has a lesser net worth than I manage my money. If they canít make themselves rich, what would make you think they will make you rich?

That's a great question, but it's one that only you can answer for yourself. I can tell you what my plan is for myself, though, as of now. I don't plan to sell any until the stock price hits around $500, which I think it will do within the next 2-to-4 years, once the first two drugs are approved: AAT and HBV. By that time, too, they will have another 15-to-20 drugs in the pipeline on their way to approval, as well. After that, the numbers get ridiculous.

The first time I mentioned ARWR on here was August 8. It closed at $29 that day. Yesterday, it closed at $39.

Just curious... How many of you in ARWR found out about it from here? Iíve been in it for several years. Way before I read anything about it here.

Well, I figure it's obvious, but I have been in for a few years. I first bought in december 2014. My last purchase was last Thursday (2500 shares), just before AASLD on Friday. I think it was $39 that day? Stunning move since then. It can't keep going up forever, but man! With all of the short interest, one has to wonder if they (the shorts) are just starting to cover, meaning that this climb could go on for a while. Honestly, at $48, I still think it is way undervalued.

Yes it is. Itís been on a roll. They held their year end CC yesterday, have had a couple price target upgrades, and everything is looking great for their future according to the call.

I am currently banking on Sigma Labs, SGLB and SGLBW. With the patented software and the rising usage of 3D printing, keeping my fingers crossed. They have also scored with DoD contracts for upgrading current in process systems.

I am very new, like 3 weeks into this type of trading thing new. Bought in at 0.45/share.
Wish I had more funds to throw at it!

In the long run, absolutely. There are tons of information about the company and science on yahoo message board. Iím not a fan of message boards, but if you filter through the bs there is a lot to learn there.

Yes, I do. In fact, I think the company is still just getting started. I believe their first two agents will be approved within 1-to-2 years. Those events, alone, would push the stock price up hundreds-of-dollars. The major risk, at this point, is a macroeconomic meltdown. Write me if you have specific questions.

And several TBH members have PM'ed me, telling me that they bought. That pleases me greatly.

Boglehead 3-4 fund portfolio is a great starting point. Individual stock purchase should be thought of gambling. Use money you're willing to lose and if you pick well great. They're too unpredictable.

SGLB up 18% today. I don't have much money, but seeing a penny stock go up that you have researched the **** out of is a wonderful feeling.

With only 1800 shares I'm not going to get rich but I am fairly certain it's going to continue up.
