About 1.25 hours south of Breck, is Jefferson Lake.



Over 400 ft. Deep, very good trout fishing.

My son and DIL got married on the shore. With the local FD in attendance.


The preacher is a FireFighter we met up there.

Drive to Hall Valley and hike to Gibson Lake. It's full of brook trout and a nice hike.

Drive to Mt Evan's or Guanella Pass to see mountain goats

After doing all the outdoors that have been suggested, Breckenridge Distillery and Dillon Dam Brewery is fun.

Also check out Montgomery Reservoir, near Alma. It is at the base of a private 14’er, gorgeous scenery, lots of trails and a fork of the South Platte just below.

Leadville is a beautiful 1 1/2 hour drive away. Neat shops, good food, tint to walk around. Fish hatchery is just the other side of town. Cool to go hand feed 5 plus pounders.

Breakfast- columbine cafe and Blue Moose if they are still open.
Downstairs at Eriks was good pizza/burgers/wings

Lots of nice places to eat and drink though!!

I went last summer. I enjoyed golf, biking and hiking. Saw quite a few mule deer hiking
