Big ugly works!

Just before the "rona" kicked off my son finds a piece of wood on the high school shop floor. He thinks it looks like a crankbait and a buddy makes a bet. Even the ag teacher got in and provided a clip board which is what the bill is made of

The bet is my son cant hand make a lure that would actually catch a fish. He finished the lure yesterday and made a water test this afternoon.

Big ugly as it was named caught 2 fish in my wifes shop pond.

Pretty good, he might consider making a hobby out of that. I tried to make a lure or two, the wood I use did not work for crap. Don't remember what it did, but I never even tried to fish with them, they worked like crap, just trying them out in a swimming pool. I gave up quickly on that idea.
