Have a buddy or two from back home that want to get together this winter for a hunting/camping trip. Thought we might look into some boat in type places for pigs/squirrels and maybe set a few bush hooks for catfish. Starting to look up the north end of Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend...just wondering if hogs are as prevalent as I think they should be over there?

I know there are a ton of hogs around the south end of Toledo. We see them all the time fishing around Texas Island. -
White Oak Creek WMAif thats not too far for you. Its eat up with pigs. Its huge and you won't be crowded out.Comment

Gracias. I’m in Bandera, buddies are coming from SC. So all of that part of Texas is going to be about the same. Buddy wants to drag his boat out and get up some rivers/lakes to maybe shoot some squirrels and ducks if we feel up to it too.
