Lot of hang ups on the bottom but they’ll stack in there in the fall.

Fairly easy limits of trout this evening, never even made it to the bay. Caught around 10 in 2 hours 14" to 21" and a bonus red. Those of you who know Matty will probably will be able to tell where I was

I'll be leaving the Harbor at 6 if anyone wants to jump on. It'll be an all day trip so pack a lunch

It was a good time. The wade boats did better than our drift boats. We had 4 boats. The boat was on with Landen and the boat with Caleb did well. The other 2 boats I think caught like 6 keeper fish between them.


Also said hi to our buddy Coastal ducks yesterday morning.

It was a pretty crappy bite. Full moon + SW wind day. One of the guys on my boat caught a skinny 27" trout on the first drift and released it. We boxed 5 or 6 trout, 2 reds, 3 drum and some sandies. It wasn't great but it wasn't a blowout either.

What I dont think yall realize is for ole meehiico to fish that spot I'm pretty sure he needs an anchor? PP ain't long enough.

I tell you what bubba it drops from 2 foot to 15 within 3 feet of that bank! I had s little 2 foot gator come up to the boat, I was looking around for momma!

I've caught plenty of fish there and the one just north. My boy and I wore out the mangrove snapper there also on little pieces of shrimp

Dang glad to see this thread is alive and well! Ive done way less fishing than I wanted to this summer. But overall its been a good summer! I got to go shark fishing a couple of weeks ago! It was freaking awesome. We landed 5 and lost 3 at the boat. One of the ones we lost at the boat was a 7'+!

Mixed things up this weekend.

Friday First tarpon went 7ft and a 185lb class fish















Saturday

Tarpon two was 5ft or so and 75lb class fish
Tarpon three was 4.5 and around a 35 lb class fish



















And Glen got one Saturday morning around 35 lbs - kicking Saturday AM off early.





















Friday made a run offshore for a little change - managed an 18lb State Snapper. Needed some fresh snapper - solid freezer stuffer.



And a bit of deeper flat drifts - in the afternoons, to finish off the days.











Sunday - skinny water specks.....some fresh caught bay shrimp before rolling home.
